Welcome to La Liga London, your home of Spanish football coverage in English.
In 2026, this site was launched with a clear aim: to provide comprehensive La Liga coverage in a way no one else has.
La Liga London originally started in 2020 as a Twitter account, and a mere hobby of mine during lockdown. I wanted to talk about Spanish football with other English fans, but was left bemused by the lack of coverage beyond Real Madrid and Barcelona.

Despite growing up in London and being a season ticket holder at a Premier League club, Spanish football and Villarreal fully captured my interest long before I entered the world of football journalism, but my knowledge of the lesser-known teams and players in Spain provided me a breakthrough into this tough industry.
What began as a simple interest in La Liga has since turned into a career, and led to a permanent move from London to Valencia.
After several years of both freelance and full-time journalism with several outlets, covering a range of teams and leagues from Arsenal to Rangers to West Brom, I decided it was time to fully dedicate myself to La Liga.
The media industry has suffered a lot in the last 12 months, and there has been a lot to dislike. My aim is to engage with the reader in a way which the mainstream companies have lost sight of.
Chasing cheap clicks, misleading the audience and sacrificing quality for quantity were aspects of my previous roles which I hated. At La Liga London, there will be none of this.
There will be something for all La Liga fans here, whether your interest is more focused on the tactics used in Spain, the fan culture across the country or on the top talents rising to the top of the game, I will aim to provide comprehensive and personal coverage across the board.
For just £3 a month, less than the price of a coffee, La Liga London will bring Spanish football to life in a way which other mainstream outlets have not. There will be something of interest to fans, coaches, scouts and other footballing professionals with any interest in La Liga.
